Our Master Classes are for filmmakers who have a special interest in specific professions within film - including sound mixing, storyboarding, script writing, editing and interviewing, among others. This class will be focused on all things audio and sound mixing.

Danielle Dupre has been working in professional audio for over ten years. She's currently a re-recording mixer for feature film and television at Skywalker Sound, where she's been since 2012. Her work covers a wide spectrum from big budget projects for Disney and Marvel to indie Sundance films and television series in between. Most recently, she was the re-recording mixer for Michelle Obama's Becoming on Netflix.

Course details:

- A comprehensive overview of different jobs in post sound for film and television, including what day-to-days for various roles typically entail, as well as tips for finding internships and accumulating relevant experience.

- Broad explanation for how to creatively think about sound as a storytelling device, as well as specific technical tips for building a sound track from scratch (if applicable).
